Market Leaders in Equity & Fixed Income Trading
On behalf of institutional and private clients, SS executes securities on the Namibian Stock Exchange (NSX), the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE), and global stock exchanges, through our agency agreements with top regional and international stockbrokers. We are a market leader in equity and fixed income trading, with access to a large network of equity and fixxed income markets and partners.
Money Market
Simonis Storm serves as an agent, handling and managing money-broking transactions for our clients. Pooling funds gives us the power to negotiate wholesale rates with major banks, which ensures a better rate on call and fixed term deposits.
We also tender for treasury bills and bonds, both on behalf of our clients and to execute secondary trades.

Fixed Income Dealing
Involves buying and selling debt securities that pay fixed interest or coupon payments. Fixed income dealings are not just about holding bonds until maturity, they also involve active trading in the secondary market. This allows investors to take advantage of price movements, changes in interest rates, and shifts in credit conditions.
Common fixed income securities include bonds, treasury bills, and corporate debt instruments.
Equity Dealing
Involves buying and selling stocks or shares of ownership in a company. Equity dealings can involve active trading, taking advantage of market movements for short-term gains or long-term investing, where investors hold shares to benefit from compounding growth and dividends over time.
Investors in equities become partial owners of the company and participate in its profits through dividends and capital appreciation.

Indices
By creating indices tailored to the Namibian investment environment, Simonis Storm supports pension funds and institutional investors with tools that bring clarity, consistency, and comparability to equity investing.
Our end-of-day indices are calculated using several key characteristics, providing an accurate and reliable reflection of market movements. These benchmarks are trusted by a number of Namibian pension funds to guide investment decisions and assess portfolio performance.
