Securities trading

We execute security trading for institutions, both on the Namibian Stock Exchange (NSX) and the JSE Securities Exchange (JSE), through our agency agreements with members of the JSE in South Africa.

Money market

We manage money broking transactions as agents for our clients. By pooling funds we are able to negotiate wholesale rates with all major banks. This ensures a better rate on call and fixed term deposits. We also tender for Treasury bills and Bonds on behalf of our clients as well as to execute secondary trades.

Capital/debt raising

We assist clients to raise capital through debt and equity issues and by listing on the NSX.  We are also able to assist clients in more complex areas such as securitization and debt restructuring.

Portfolio management

We follow a portfolio management style of predominantly investing in blue chip shares, thereby ensuring low risk. Secondly, emphasis is placed on long term investing. Each client’s specific situation is taken into account.  Through our agreement with the largest private client equity portfolio manager in South Africa we have access to an online trading system for those clients who wish to manage their own portfolios.

Risk management services

We also have an association with a reputable risk manager in South Africa through which we offer Enterprise Wide Risk Management solutions to our clients.

Treasury services

We are able to provide the full spectrum of treasury services, e.g. hedging proposals, asset and liability management, etc. to our clients.

Due diligence, deal facilitation and company valuations

We perform independent analysis of the current status of a business, including financial and operational aspects, for a prospective lender or shareholder. We provide deal facilitation services between seller and buyer. We furthermore execute independent valuations both for an interested buyer or seller using a number of valuation methodologies.
